Alexandre Maître, marquis de Bay (Salins, 1650 – Badajoz, November 14, 1715) was a French military officer.

1696 - 1701: in service in the Dutch cavalry, colonel.
1701: offered his services to Philip V of Spain , general of cavalry in Flanders.
1704 : Marquis de Bay, captain-general of Estremadura.
1710 : in command of the Spanish troops in the Battle of Saragossa where he suffered a terrible defeat.
