Aunt Bessie is a UK producer of traditional British roast goods. The company produces foodstuffs such as yorkshire puddings, potato and vegetable dishes, main dishes, traditional puddings, cooking sauces, ready meals, and sweet dishes. Aunt Bessie's is best known for producing yorkshire puddings however.[1] Aunt Bessie herself is not a real character, but a fictional marketing device. The products are actually created by Tryton Foods Ltd of Layerthorpe Road, Henry Boot Way, Hull, East Yorkshire, HU4 7DY.[2]
Aunt Bessie's is a market leader in frozen Yorkshire puddings, which have been produced within the family owned business since 1974.[3] The company operates in the UK and distributes to Australia, Canada, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and the United States of America.[4]
