Bülent Uygun (born August 1, 1971 in Sakarya, Turkey) is former Turkish footballer who currently coaching for Sivasspor. He was playing attacking midfielder and second sitriker. He was captain of Fenerbahçe when he was playing.
He started his career with Sakaryaspor for junior level. He started his professional career with Kocaelispor between 1989-93 years. Then he transferred to Turkish club Fenerbahçe. He played for Fenerbahçe between 1993-96 years, played 107 matches and scored 39 goals. Fenerbahçe former president Ali Şen sold him to his former club Kocaelispor on 1996 mid-season where he played until 1998.
He also played for Çanakkale Dardanelspor (1998-99), Trabzonspor (1999-00), Göztepe (2000), Zonguldakspor (2000-01), Kilimli Belediyespor (2001), Anadolu Üsküdar 1908 (2001-02 and 2003-04) and Sivasspor (2002-03).
He played 16 times for Turkey U21 (1992-93) and 11 times for Turkey (1992-96 scored 2 goals).[1] He also played 3 times for national olympic team.
He was famous about his goal ceremony, he was giving a soldier salute.
He was league top scorer with 22 goals for 1993-94 season with Fenerbahçe.[2]
He took place as manager at Sivasspor in 2006. He led the team to an 7th place in 2006-07, and a 4th place, with 73 place, in the Super Lig 2007-08. Uygun was chosen best manager for the 2007-2008 season in Turkey.He announced that he analyze the weakness of the rival team during the half time by the help of the computer program called Türbülent.
