Don Carlos Luis (Carlo Luigi) Ruspoli y Álvarez de Toledo, de Godoy (di Bassano) y Silva-Bazán, dei Principi Ruspoli (Madrid, March 1, 1858 – assassinated in the Spanish Civil War in Madrid, November 10, 1936) was an Italian and Spanish aristocrat, son of Adolfo Ruspoli y Godoy, 2nd Duke of Alcúdia, and wife Dona Rosalia Álvarez de Toledo y Silva-Bazán, de Palafox-Portocarrero y Téllez-Girón.
He was 3rd Duque de Sueca Grandee of Spain First Class (Letter of March 31, 1887) and 17th Conde de Chinchón Grandee of Spain First Class with a Coat of Arms of de Borbón (Letter of March 31, 1887), both in succession of his paternal grandmother, 3rd Duque (formerly Marqués) de Alcúdia Grandee of Spain First Class with a Coat of Arms of de Godoy (Letter of February 25, 1915) and 4th Conde de Évora Monte in Portugal de Juro e Herdade with Honours of Relative both in succession of his father [1], Senator of the Realm by his own right, etc.

He married firstly at San Sebastián, December 5, 1896 his cousin Dona María del Carmen Caro y Caro, Álvarez de Toledo y Gomurcio (Madrid, May 18, 1856/1865 – Madrid, April 24, 1907), daughter of Don Carlos Caro y Álvarez de Toledo, de Salas y Palafox and wife and cousin Dona María de la Encarnación Caro y Gomurcio, Caro y Ugarte-Barrientos, both of the Duques de Montalto, Marqueses de La Romana, etc, descendants of Pedro Caro y Sureda, 3rd marqués de La Romana, and had three children:
- Dona Rosalia Blanca Ruspoli y Caro, Álvarez de Toledo y Caro, dei Principi Ruspoli (Paris, August 5, 1898 – Madrid, June 28, 1926), married at San Sebastián, July 16, 1921 as his first wife her cousin Don Alfonso (Alonso) Cristiano Álvarez de Toledo y Mencos, de Samaniego y Rebolledo (Madrid, November 28, 1896 – Madrid, April 2, 1990), 4th Duque de Zaragoza, 11th Marqués de San Felices de Aragón (Royal Letter of San Sebastián, June 16, 1921), 10th Marqués de Casa Pontejos, 8th Marqués de Lazán, 7th Marqués de Miraflores, 12th Conde de Los Arcos, 11th Conde de Campo Eril Grandee of Spain First Class with a Coat of Arms of Roger de Eril, and had an only daughter
- Dona María del Rosario Ignacia Álvarez de Toledo y Ruspoli, de Mencos y Caro, 11th Marquesa de Casa Pontejos (Madrid, November 5, 1923 –), unmarried and without issue
- Dona María de la Encarnacion Ruspoli y Caro, Álvarez de Toledo y Caro, dei Principi Ruspoli (Madrid, May 5, 1900 – Madrid, February 14/July 5, 1965), married in Madrid, April 16/26, 1930 Don Mariano del Prado y O'Neill, de Lisboa y Salamanca (Madrid, September 15, 1901 – Madrid, October 18, 1963), 10th Marqués de Caicedo, 9th Marqués de Acapulco, 3rd Marqués de Ogijares, 3rd Marqués de Rincon de San Ildefonso and 3rd Conde de Buelna, and had issue
- Camilo Carlos Adolfo Ruspoli y Caro, 4th Duke de Sueca and 4th Duke of Alcúdia
He married secondly in Madrid, July 2, 1911 Dona Josefa Pardo y Manuel de Villena (Madrid, February 13, 1869 – ?), widow of don José de Agrella y ..., ... y ..., daughter of Don Arturo Pardo y de Inchausti, ... y ..., 9th Consort Conde de Via Manuel Grandee of Spain First Class, Knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Maestrante of Zaragoza, and wife Dona María Isabel Manuel de Villena y Álvarez de las Asturias-Bohórquez, de Bambalere y Guiráldez, 9th Condesa de Via Manuel Grandee of Spain First Class, 13th Marquesa de Rafal Grandee of Spain First Class with a Coat of Arms of de Rocamora, 1st Marquesa de La Puebla de Rocamora (Letter of May 30, 1867), ?th Condesa de La Granja with a Coat of Arms of de Rocamora, 5th Baronesa de Monte Villena, 17th Señora de Cheles, etc, without issue.
