Carlos Miguel Fitz-James Stuart, 14th Duke of Alba (19 May 1794 – 7 October 1835) was a Spanish aristocrat. [1]

Born in Madrid Spain in 1794, he was a descendant of James FitzJames, 1st Duke of Berwick. He was the second surviving son of the 5th Duke of Berwick and inherited that family's title's on his elder brother the 6th Duke's death in 1795.
He became the 14th Duke of Alba in 1802 following the death of the childless 13th Duchess of Alba - he thus became a Grandee of Spain on 10 counts. He married the Italian noblewoman Rosalía, (1798 - 1868), from among the "Ventimiglia" princes. He died on 7 October 1835 at age 41 at Sion, Switzerland and was succeeded by his son, Jacopo Fitz-James Stuart.
