Foreign Service Specialists are employees of the United States Department of State and other foreign affairs agencies, members of the Foreign Service system who provide services in support of foreign policy at posts worldwide or in Washington, D.C. Specialists are an integral part of the foreign affairs agencies' presence overseas, dedicated to representing America's interests in other countries.
