Karakax County

The Karakax (Qaraqash) County (Chinese: 墨玉县, Pinyin: Mòyù Xiàn; Uyghur: قاراقاش ناھىيىسى‎, Qaraqash Nahiyisi, K̡arak̡ax Nah̡iyisi)^[1] is a county within the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administration of the Hotan Prefecture. It contains an area of 25,667 km². According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 420,000.
