Baby music

Baby music is the term used to describe music activity classes aimed at pre-school children and their parents,^{[citation needed]} currently popular in the United Kingdom.

In these classes, usually lasting about an hour, the children are encouraged to participate in singing and percussion activities led by a musician-animator who will often play an acoustic guitar. Percussion instruments may also be provided. Typically baby music classes take place in a community hall or other subsidized venue.

In this stage, babies and children are very receptive to music.^{[citation needed]} Toddlers are especially receptive to music cartoons and videos.^{[citation needed]}
