Royal Palace of Riofrío
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Royal Palace of Riofrío (Spanish: Palacio Real de Riofrío) is a residence of the King of Spain in the Spanish province of Segovia. It is set in a wooded deer-park.
Built on the orders of Isabella Farnese, the widow of Philip V of Spain, the Italian-style building was constructed in 1752. After the death of Isabella it was never inhabited by any of the kings of Spain, remaining as a hunting lodge.
