Note that the name of this page is wrong as it has "Alfonso" rather than "Alonso". The Spanish language page has lots more text which needs translating into here if someone has time. --KirkMartinez 18:14, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

I think the name should be changed as soon as possible. I was born in the same place than this man, President of the First Spanish Republic, and I can assure the correct name is Nicolás Salmerón y Alonso. --Schumi4ever (talk) 18:53, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
