Nearly every template in Wikipedia. I cannot find the reference in the MoS, but if you don't wish people to think of this template as low-quality, you should comply. I thought maybe that a pic of live cockles in a tank was more relevant to fisheries than an empty mussel shell washed up on a beach (albeit a very beautiful one).Invertzoo (talk) 01:34, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

That image is much better, Invertzoo. This navigation panel is maybe just a stop gap until separate articles are written for these species fisheries. It is a way of letting users navigate easily for now amongst the bits and pieces that are scattered around Wikipedia. I'm not sure what you mean when you say the "heading visually merges with the text". I've restored the format to where it was because that is a standard format used on articles on fishing and fisheries. I take your point about article names being capitalised. However these are not article names, they are menu items which point to a section in an article. Also, this format is established across the other templates. I removed whelks for now - it looks messy, there's hardly anything that's been written about them commercially, and they're not that important commercially anyway. --Geronimo20 (talk) 22:38, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Me again, thanks again, I should perhaps explain that when I said that the "heading visually merges with the text" I meant that the heading "commercial mollusks" does not "read" well visually: the word "mollusks" does not stand out from the list of mollusks, but seems to be part of it. I see that on the template for commercial finned fish, the list of names of fish is arranged flush left. I added escargot to the list. These are commercially exploited mollusks, however they are not part of "fisheries" because they are land snails, therefore they are "farmed" rather than fished.
