With regard to this string of edits: what sort of institution should this template include? Just the ones that actually award degrees, or also those which provide degree courses? --Kwekubo 19:25, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Good point - my concern i that those that provide degree courses are many, those that grant degrees are few. We already have Template:Dublin City University, Template:IOT System and that integrating these here would create an unmanageable template. And templates are not in vogue like they used to be and something unmanageable is a surestart to deletion. The other point would be to create a template for the National University of Ireland, as this is where expansion can be within a university system, for all non-university level institutions within the university.
