The University of Oradea (Universitatea din Oradea in Romanian) is a university located in Oradea, Romania.

With its four colleges and 18 faculties, it has a total of 123 fields of study for undergraduates and 151 post-graduate specialisation degrees. The university employs 2003 people, of which 1237 are teaching staff. It has 35,000 students (including part-time students and those engaging in distance learning).

The University of Oradea collaborates with 214 universities, institutes and companies in 31 countries.[citation needed] It is also integrated in the European Union's Socrates and Erasmus programs and has a sizeable number of international students.[citation needed]

The University of Oradea has three lecture halls, each with 640 seats, and 22 amphitheatres with 1940 seats in total, as well as 60 lecture and seminar rooms. Additionally, the university has a 200-seat dining hall and two dormitories for boarding students. A new library is under construction which, when completed, will be one of the largest in Romania.[citation needed] The university also has a facility at Stâna de Vale, in the Apuseni mountains of Bihor county, which includes accommodations as well as educational and recreational facilities.
