[edit] I need your help
Dear Sir, I wondered if you could help me to userfy my article (Nankali's Masticatory Force Systematization). Special regards, --Ali nankali (talk) 08:51, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- Done, it's at User:Ali nankali/Nankali's Masticatory Force Systematization now. Bryan Derksen (talk) 16:08, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] CfD nomination of Category:Terrorists
I have nominated Category:Terrorists (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs) for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Sceptre (talk) 19:21, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] TfD nomination of Template:911ct supporters
Template:911ct supporters has been nominated for deletion by Ice Cold Beer. As this TfD nomination includes objections to the same list of people that is currently in use in Template:911ct, I am inviting you to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. (I am sending this message to you as a current or former editor of Template:911ct, following the guideline on multiple messages.) Regards — Cs32en 08:30, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Solar System
I have nominated Solar system for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here.
- I should have done this MUCH earlier! First time - learning & living! HarryAlffa (talk) 19:14, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] TfD nomination of Template:R68/20 & 28 similar
04-May-09: Template:R68/20 (and 28 similar unused templates) have been nominated for deletion by User:Wikid77 (me), following the creation of new Template:Rlink which can replace all of 125 similar R-templates. However, many of those old 125 are still in use, so only the unused 29 would be deleted. I am inviting you to join discussion at Wikipedia:Templates for deletion#Template:R68/20.
(I am sending this message to you as a current or former editor of Template:R68/20, following the guideline on multiple messages.) -Wikid77 (talk) 20:18, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Formosa's law
On October 28, 2005, you redirected Formosa's Law to Formosa's law. What was the reason for the move? "Formosa's Law" is a proper noun, so it should be capitalized (as in the Jargon File entry, which the article claims to be based on).
Wikipedia is inconsistent (Moore's law (law is capitalized in Gordon Moore), Megan's Law, Murphy's law), but seems to lean towards using a lower case "l." Is there a Wikipedia convention or official rule on this? It seems odd, because "law" is almost universally capitalized elsewhere (Intel, which Gordon Moore founded, capitalizes "law." Also, search for one of those laws using Google and look at the first few pages of results). Jhessela (talk) 16:48, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well, bear in mind that I did this four years ago. I don't remember it at all, the only clues are in the edit history that we both have access to. That said, there's a couple of criteria I judge when picking which article to merge into which:
- Which one has more articles linking to it? If there's significantly more articles linking to one over the other, that's probably the "better" title all other things being equal.
- Which article has the longer history? Redirecting an article somewhere makes it harder to find the history of any contents I may bring over, so I generally try to keep the article with the larger history as the "primary" one.
- No idea whether either of these played a role. Not a lot of articles link to either capitalization. Bryan Derksen (talk) 05:20, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

An article that you have been involved in editing, Alcides Moreno, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alcides Moreno (2nd nomination). Thank you.

[edit] A study on how to cover scientific uncertainties/controversies
Hi. I have emailed you to ask whether you would agree to participate in a short survey on how to cover scientific uncertainties/controversies in articles pertaining to global warming and climate change. If interested, please email me Encyclopaedia21 (talk) 15:33, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] A note re: Talk:Rorschach test/2009 consensus review
Please be advised that I have recently conducted a review of the Rorschach test (formerly Rorschach inkblot test) talk page and archives. At some point, you have commented on the issue of the display and/or placement of the Rorschach inkblot image. Based on my understanding of your comment(s), I have placed you into one of three categories. I am issuing this note so that you can review how I have placed you, and to signal if this is an appropriate placement and/or to make known your current thoughts on this matter. You may either participate in discussion at the article talk page or leave a note at my talk page; but to keep things in one place, you should also clarify at Talk:Rorschach test/2009 consensus review/addendum. Longer statements may be made here or quick clarifications/affirmations based on several pre-written statements can be made here. Best regards, –xenotalk 14:50, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Looks like you classified me correctly. You may also be interested to note that there's been a bit of a history of attempts to delete these images from Commons, too: Commons:Talk:Rorschach_inkblot_test. Not sure how relevant it is as far as English Wikipedia is concerned but it involved pretty much the same reasons. Bryan Derksen (talk) 04:14, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Articles for deletion nomination of Oxygen-15
I have nominated Oxygen-15, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oxygen-15. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Tyrenon (talk) 05:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Restore deleted article
Could you restore the data on my deleted User Page so that I can grab the source? I thought I was writing in a sandbox (misinterpreted the Wiki sandbox link) and was trying to convert and play with one of my guides. I'll remove it as soon as I grab the source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danr14 (talk • contribs) 06:58, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
- I see that it appears to have already been done by another admin, and moved to User:Danr14/Sandbox. Hope that's all you needed. Bryan Derksen (talk) 01:58, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (File:Land of the Lost (1974) title screen.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Land of the Lost (1974) title screen.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:10, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] GA reassessment of Australian Secret Intelligence Service
I have conducted a reassessment of this article as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have found some concerns which are listed at Talk:Australian Secret Intelligence Service/GA1.
