[edit] List of New York Mets managers FLC
I've replied to all your issues. I'd appreciate it if you took another look to see if I adequately responded. Additionally, I have one or two requests for clarification. Mm40 (talk) 23:16, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Newsletter
I disagree. I think the current format works fine, it's logically laid out, and gives all relevant and necessary information that is of interest and/or pertinent to WP:PW members. Unless you can think of something we've left out, or something that is drastically wrong with the newsletter, changing it seems to be change for change's sake to me. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:44, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- While I see your point, the newsletter has always contained info about current events in wrestling, issue 1 for example, and I quite like it. I've personally found out info that I wouldn't normally have found out about from reading it in the newsletter. I just think that the section is too long, perhaps if we redefine what is notable, or even shorten down the info in it. For example, taking some info from the current issue, instead of saying "Beer Money, Inc. (Robert Roode and James Storm) defeated TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) in a tag team match to win the titles." just say "Beer Money, Inc. (Robert Roode and James Storm) won the TNA World Tag Team Championship." That would cut it down a lot. There seems to be too much superfluous info imo. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:59, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- Births, I don't think so really, and if we are adding them, then we've missed both Brock Lesnar's and Necro Butcher's, who both had kids a few weeks ago. So, just to clarify, we don't say if they got arrested, just that they got sentenced to prison? And regarding the Donald Trump thing, normally I'd agree for most storyline things, but this got coverage on a few other sites (non-wrestling ones) if I remember rightly, plus the trading of the 15 superstars as a result I think is notable enough to warrant a quick mention. Myabe remove the mention of McMhaon buying it back, but I think the tade should stay. Another thing from the newsletter, "TNA launched an online video subscription service." - I'm not sure how that is notable, we don't tend to list WWE launching abything like that. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 19:08, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Re: SPAM
You've been hit with... Spam... *in the face*. ;) I'm good. How 'bout you? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:22, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, you've returned to your "misery". I guess, when you leave for a while, everything changes and then you forget what you once did. I've been there, no worries. :) So, is that all you're doing, right now? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:34, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Like, totally. :P That's good, you're going back to what you're good at. Go for it; return to your roots. If you need help, you know where to find me. ;) Same here, though, I haven't commented at PW, want to avoid that stuff, and haven't worked on a list. Just don't give away my secret. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:49, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- That's sad to hear. :( But, I remember you told me that. IDK, things still seem a bit shaky over there. I would rather comment when some consensus thing comes up, so I can say that I voiced my opinion. Hey, by any chance do you know how to add a message when someone hits "new section"? You know, when someone starts to open a new section a notice shows up? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 14:36, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'll miss you. First LAX, now you. Its very sad. :( I guess. But, I want to avoid confrontations, really. Thanks for the link, I appreciate it. Will you work on something before leaving? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 16:50, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. Well, I hope you will remember me when you're not on here. ;) What article do you have in mind? If you don't mind me asking. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 17:34, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Donkey Kong games FLC
It's been a few days, so I figured I'd drop a note on your talk page. The List of Donkey Kong games (Nomination) has gone through a copyedit by a third party which should address your concerns about periods in the article. Feel free to take a look over the nomination and to see if the changes in the article now meet your requirements. Cheers. -- Nomader (Talk) 18:01, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Volunteer opportunity in Bethesda, Thursday, July 16
The Wikimedia Foundation will be conducting an all-day Academy at the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Maryland, on Thursday, July 16. The team that will be teaching at the Academy, a mix of paid staff and volunteers, is looking for four more volunteers to be teaching assistants, providing one-to-one assistance in workshops whenever a workshop participant has a problem following the instructional directions. (We currently have two editors signed up as teaching assistants, and are looking for a total of six.)
The NIH editing workshops are only for two hours, but volunteers are asked to meet the Wikimedia Foundation team at the hotel in Bethesda at about 7:15 a.m. (time to be finalized shortly) and to stay for the entire day, which ends at 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. (The full schedule can be found here.)
The team is not necessarily looking for expert editors (though they are welcome), just people who can help novices who might get stuck when trying to do some basic things. If you've been an editor for at least 3 months, and have done at least 500 edits, you probably qualify.
If you're interested, please send John Broughton an email. If you might be interested, but would like further information, please post a note on his user talk page, so that he can respond there, and others can see what was asked.
(You have received this posting because your user page indicates that you live in Maryland or DC. --EdwardsBot (talk) 03:51, 10 July 2009 (UTC))
