Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Military
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An avid person dependant on Wikipedia, it was disturbing to note the intrusion and acceptance of the text by Edmaond Said in Bernard Lewis' biogrophy. It doesn't deserve the space.
He was a skilled person able to intrude himself to elevate himself.
There is no way to elevate him to the status of BL, so why was this permitted to happen.
I think Wikipedia was used. The result is that, at least, this reader had added skepticism about the things in the documentation.
Wishing I had more understanding about the mechanics of commenting on, or editing Wiki's content.
[edit] Categories
What about adding categories up for deletion, namely
- Category:Recipients of the Meritorious Service Medal
- Category:Soldier's Medal recipients
- Category:Recipients of the Air Medal
Is there a template for these discussions?--Nobunaga24 04:32, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think there is, no. CFDs have traditionally been a problem because they're not on individual subpages, so they can't just be transcluded here; but if people are willing to take the time to list them out, that would be a good thing, I think. Kirill 04:58, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article on retired Rear Admiral
Not sure if this article will interest you. Steven Kantrowitz is now tagged as a PROD. He was an unsuccessful election candidate; however, he is also a retired Assistant Deputy Judge Advocate (Navy) and retired as a Rear Admiral with a few medals. Not sure if it will pop up in your deletion sorting, so just wanted to let you know so the project could decide if it was worth trying to do something with.
